CULINARY
JEWELS
During 2009 Brenda Reimers created the photo project
Culinary Jewels.
The jewellery designed and created by Brenda is made
from food.
Each photo represents a country and the ingredients
used to create the jewellery are also found in well
known dishes in those countries.
The project is developing further. Based on the ingredients
from the jewellery a range of recipes will be collected.
Combined with the photos this forms the base of a photo
art cookbook that will be published. The final step
of the project is to create real jewellery using different
gemstones and precious metals.
7th till 11th October 2010 Brenda Reimers will exhibit
Culinary Jewels at the art fair ARTSingapore.
